UNSEEN

Released in November 2021, “Unseen” is the multi award-winning debut short film from Black Octopus Productions. Depicting unflinching glimpses of a homeless man’s battle with both his own mind and life as an outcast, “Unseen” offers the viewer the opportunity to make up their own mind as to the morality, justice and social dilemmas facing the protagonist, Barry. Played with immense skill and depth by Stephen Carey Stopford, Barry’s life on the streets is depicted in stark black and white, showing him stripped of his individuality and humanity by society, telling us his tale with brutal honesty. Written and Directed by Hayden Hewitt, “Unseen” has already won several awards, including ‘Best Actor’ for Stephen Carey Stopford at the Screen Power Film Festival and both ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Audience Award’ at the Feel the Reel International Film Festival.
