A quiet drink after work leads to a chance meeting with a barefooted stranger and a story so preposterous it can’t possibly be true….or can it? A dizzying chain of events will keep you guessing to the very last frame as Black Octopus Productions present, “Lips”, a paean to the halcyon days of British television classics like Roald Dahl’s “Tales of the Unexpected”, Nigel Kneale’s “Beasts” and Brian Clemens’ “Thriller”.
Written by the celebrated author David L. Hayles (“Cannon Fodder”; “The Suicide Kit”) described by Time Out as “Roald Dahl on Ritalin”, “Lips” stars one of Britain’s finest comic actors, James Dreyfus (“Notting Hill”; “Gimme Gimme Gimme”; “The Thin Blue Line”) in a role which will cause the jaws of his legions of fans to drop. Also appearing is the award-winning Paul Dewdney, named “Best Actor” for his role in the film, “Mea Culpa” opposite Hollywood icon, Sean Young. “Lips” is directed by Hayden Hewitt and is produced by Black Octopus Productions.
